Description
My name is Joelle Evodie D, and I am a female home carer with over 5 years of experience. I'm proud to have worked with an array of clients, from those with mild cognitive impairment to those who are bedridden or struggling with Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression. My goal is to help clients lead the most independent lives possible while providing them with compassionate and personalized care.
As a carer, I have many attributes that lend well to the job at hand. I am naturally caring and kind, and I always try to ensure that my clients feel comfortable and at ease with me. I am also friendly and compassionate, and I love to engage clients in conversation or activities that they enjoy. Additionally, I am always eager to help in any way I can, whether that means assisting with dressing, catheter care, companionship, or any other tasks.
My motivation for caring comes from seeing the incredible difference that personalized care can make in a person's life. I believe that everyone deserves to live as independently as possible, and I am passionate about helping my clients achieve that. Though I cannot drive and do not have a car, I am more than willing to travel to my clients' homes and provide care in any capacity they need, whether that's live-in, hourly, or overnight.
When I'm not caring for clients, I enjoy spending time on my hobbies, which include painting, dancing, card games, cooking, and baking. I'm also a social butterfly and love interacting with people, which is why I often choose to spend my free time with friends and family. Finally, I'm comfortable around several animals, including fish, rabbits, and birds, so clients who need help caring for their pets need not worry about me being there. If you're looking for a caring, skilled, and helpful carer, I encourage you to get in contact with me today!
